SO YEAH uh. These are characters from an rp-- left is mine (Aris), right is ~PhantomTeacup's (Rem). :B
THEIR BROMANCE IS EPIC BEYOND REASON asdfkljasdkfjasdhf
Was experimenting with vaguely art-nouveau-y shapes at the beginning, but that got ditched pretty quickly because I guess I'm terrible at that sort of thing.... (once I started inking the trees I had to add BARK!! And OVERLAPPING BRANCHES!! And then suddenly it was just a tree and not anything abstract... oh well.)
Borked the anatomy/tattoos slightly but shhhhhh.

I like the semi-nouveau style that resulted and the contrast between the trees and the metal.
