Lame title :T I decided to fool around with a slightly different style! People kept talking up Paint Tool Sai and saying it was the best for inking things, so I decided to give it a shot.

Colours are done in Photoshop, though, since I am too attached to my PS workflow XD;; Maybe one day I'll finish something entirely in Sai.... They make it so easy to swap programs, though, even letting you save files as PSDs with all layer information intact D:

These guys are Felix and Tiara, from an original story I am working on (very slowly)

It was fun! I dunno if it's going to be a new staple or anything since my usual approach is to just... not have any lines at all, but if I do want to ink something it could be a fun backup method to have around. The stabilizer definitely made the inking feel more fluid than PS, where half the time I end up using the eraser tool to shape my lines instead of just letting the stroke flow as it was drawn.

I avoid it whenever possible <_< usually I do my inking on paper and use PS to edit/colour the scan.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, holy crap holy crap holy crap way to be amazing on your first try with SAI, and with such super-tight and thin lines, too! Love their poses and your amazing lighting~ *0*

It took awhile to finish the lines, though it turned out to be sort of hypnotic while I was actually working? Anyway it was a fun program to use :')

Hmmmm, I've found other processes to be soothing--painting, sometimes traditional lines--but digital lines still stump me, hahahah. xD;
